Submit the following documentation to reception@smwtcs.ca:

Transcript (i.e. high school, SkilledTradesBC, college/university, welding, etc.) or GED

Any safety certification documentation

Application will be verified by staff

Online evaluation will be scheduled
All applications must be submitted online. Relevant documentation must be emailed to reception@smwtcs.ca for verification by staff prior to the applicant being scheduled to complete an online evaluation. Once all these steps are completed, all applications for sheet metal apprenticeship must receive final approval from the Sheet Metal Industry Training Board’s Coordinator.
The Sheet Metal Industry Training Board (comprised of Labour and Management representatives) selects apprentices, without regard to race, ethnicity, creed, sex, or national origin.
