SkilledTradesBC FINAL CERTIFICATION EXAMS
When all levels of your technical training are complete, the SkilledTradesBC will come to your school and administer the final certification exam to your whole class. This exam will cover all levels and theory in your apprenticeship.

SkilledTradesBC registration Prerequisites:

Signed agreement from an employer to sponsor the apprentice (Sponsor)
Completion Requirements for Sheet Metal Workers:

Level 1 Technical Training (180 hours or 6 weeks) — minimum 70%

Level 2 Technical Training (180 hours or 6 weeks) — minimum 70%

Level 3 Technical Training (180 hours or 6 weeks) — minimum 70%

Level 4 Technical Training (180 hours or 6 weeks) — minimum 70%

Work-Based Training — 6400 hours

Interprovincial Red Seal Exam — minimum 70%

Recommendation for Certification — Recommendation for certification signed by the Sponsor and an individual holding credentials eligible for sign-off authority
